Being Outside

There is no doubt that this little man loves to be outside. I am really trying to enjoy just him for the next two months before the little lady comes. Watching him play yesterday made me a little sad that he will have to be the big guy coming August. His smile makes me smile and everything felt better:)

Daddy let him play with the sprinkler the other day:) It takes a lot of energy to move that thing across the yard!

Till next time!

Sweet Men

I haven't been very good about blogging lately, to be honest I really don't think about it much. I envy those ladies out there that are stay at home moms that have beautiful blogs. I get inspired reading them, but for some reason I can't get myself to improve my own. Oh well, maybe one of these days???

Anyway Josiah loves to play outside. I bought him some sidewalk chalk and it usually gets more on him than the sidewalk, but I don't care:) Look at how cute and excited he is! I love that little guy. I also love his little front teeth. I have mentioned before they remind me of my dad's teeth because of the gap between them. Well this week we were playing in our living room and Josiah tripped and hit his lip on the edge of his toy box. Of course it bled like crazy which scared me. He wouldn't let me touch his teeth until the other day. He might have a loose front tooth:( I called the dentist and there is nothing they can do about it so I guess I will have to wait and see what happens. Poor thing, if he looses his tooth he will look different. Until then I am going to enjoy his sweet little smile the way it is!

Oh and baby update: 27 weeks and 2 days pregnant. The other day at the grocery store the cashier questioned my due date because she thought I looked BIG. Then she proceeded to ask if I thought I looked big. Well of course I feel big I am 7 months pregnant. Stupid lady. My sweet husband assured me that I don't look huge. Actually he told me that I look sexy and even hotter than Heidi Klum!! WooWoo, now that is a complement. Hey what are husbands for:)

Spring is coming:)

Today is another beautiful day- sunny and mid 60's. It makes a world of a difference to be able to go outside and take a walk. I hate to be trapped indoors all winter long. Yesterday was splendid as well. My sweet mom and aunt came over for a visit and lunch. Lunch menu: quiche, betty's salad and a bunch of fruit. Fresh bakes cookie bars that taste more like fudge than cookie, but so good. :) We ate ourselves silly! We took a long walk at the park to enjoy the very spring like day. I wish I would have taken a couple of pictures of our girls day out, (including Josiah) but i never think to do it. Oh well. Yesterday started out pretty exciting when I wrote into Regis and Kelly's show inbox and my comment actually got read by Regis- I couldn't believe it!! We shall see what today hold for us. I don't have any plans which is nice since it is the first day in two and a half weeks I don't have anything to do. So I will enjoy a nap and a walk later on this very St. Patrick's Day or maybe wear a green shirt. But I know one thing, I am extremely ready for my sweet husband to return to us- it has been way too long. :( Oh and Josiah is very crabby today, I hope he isn't getting another ear infection.

Thankful Thursdays

I will be honest earlier today I wasn't feeling very thankful for anything. Sometimes I get in these horrible moods , where everything annoys me. It makes me sad when I feel like that because I have so many thing to be happy for. When I sit down and really think about why I am annoyed, it's so petty. (The house is dusty, I haven't had a moment to myself, I feel like all I do is clean up, I don't feel great because I'm pregnant, Josiah is crabby and he won't let me put him down, I haven't had a moment alone with my husband.) In moments like that I can only pray to our gracious God to give me a better attitude because I can't do it on my own. So saying that, there are plenty of things I am thankful for....

A moment to myself

Nap time

Home projects

Being healthy

Being Pregnant

Being married

Having plenty of food to eat

Having a roof over my head

Having a hard working husband

Having a sweet baby boy

A good friend to talk to on the phone

A shower

A gracious God

A better attitude

Life is NOT about me:)

Good Morning

Good morning. Today was a good morning actually. I didn't get sick:) Oh the joys of being pregnant. Anyway, Josiah is in a good mood this morning, giggling at every little thing I do to him. Well actually I really enjoy biting his ribs and he always and I mean always lets out the best baby boy laugh. I love getting a little glimpse of his two front teethers, now that they both are in:) There is a little space between them and it reminds me of my dad's teeth.

It's been too long

I am almost embarrassed by how long it has been since my last blog. I was think why do I have a blog if I am not going to keep up on it. Anyway a lot has happen since November 23rd. Christmas came and went as fast as the dickens. We celebrated New Years with a wonderful Sanctus concert here in our hometown of Toledo, and had a little after party with some very close friends. Chris and I stayed up way too late because New Years day I felt like I had made the worst decision in my life to stay up until 3 am. I am usually in bed by 11 if not early. So needless to say it took my a couple of days to recoup. Chris and I just came home from a little vacation that he surprised me with on Christmas morning. A five night cruise to Mexico. We had a wonderful relaxing time, but unfortunately we froze our butts off. The high only reached about 65 and we only got a very short glimpse of the sun for a total of two hours. I was very much looking forward to sitting on the beach while the sun baked my skin. Oh well. Josiah stayed home with his Grandparents and got extremely spoiled because he wasn't even excited to see me. I think he was a little mad at me. Another big event in the Rohman household is that we are in the process of finishing our basement. My dear father is in charge of the project and everything is coming along nicely. Chris and I have made our trips to home depot picking out fixtures and carpet colors. It won't be long before we have our cozy space complete:)

Well until March- just kidding I won't wait that long.....
